News and Art Workshops

Happy New Year tto you! There's so much going on and it's looking to be a busy but wonderful year in art. Summer holidays might have you heading over to the Bright Art Gallery for their Summer Exhibition. This one runs until 26th January 2026 so it just might be the perfect detour on your travels around the region.  You might even spy my "Highly Commended" artwork "Vessels" in the mix over there.

 In Wangaratta, Art Gallery on Ovens is the treasure to find. It's a little hidden but worth the search, just opposite the Wespac Bank on Murphy St, Wangaratta. Art Gallery on Ovens is a dynamic display space showcasing all sorts of art and artists from the region. I say dynamic given that the exhibitions change regularly so there's always something new to see.

One of these exhibitions will be my own Solo Exhibition ​ "The Temperament of Petals" at Art Gallery on Ovens from the 28th February through to the 9th March. Please come in and have a look around. It is a celebration of Australian Native Flowers. Original Art, Art Prints, Greeting cards and more.  I will be there so i would love to meet you.

The Workshops are set up in such a way you can attend one as an interest area or you could attend two, or all, as a kind of cumulative learning course.
