A still life representation of the beautiful kumquats as they are arranged in a glass bottle. The day I painted these I literally picked them off the tree, put them into a glass bottle and sat down to paint them. They made a beautiful, but only temporary centre-piece on my table. Fortunately I painted this particularly beautiful showing for a more permanent version.
