This artwork started as a bit of a study. I was examining the light around and as it passed through a high ball glass. It is quite amazing: glass I mean. Although we can hold a clear vessel, we can observe all sorts of light play within it. It's not really truly clear but a swirl of ever changing, reflected and refracted swirls of light.
