Playing with the shadow and light around this spotted vase resulted in interesting patterns. Refracted light wafts around the vase. Interestingly enough the blue spots do not show in the shadow. The vase that I based this work upon was a vintage piece. It is beautiful in its own right but when the light hits it, the magic happens as splinters of light drift around the resultant shadow. It is beautiful and mesmerizing.
