"Vessels" was inspired by the ceramics works I came across in travels and in galleries. Their shapes, textures and colours so beautiful that their practical purpose of carrying liquids was really insignificant. I used a multi media approach to capture the textured or smooth surfaces, their glassy allure and sculpted shapes to attract the viewer. I wanted this artwork to tempt the observer to reach out and touch them, just as I felt the same desire when looking at the physical ceramic vessels on display.
