The light as it hits a clear glass vase and refracts and reflects against the white wall is such an unexpected display. I painted this image as it appeared to me in my sunroom one afternoon. It was the catalyst for the "light journey" works that were created. "Black and White" is an acrylic painting on stretched canvas 30 x 30 x 3.5cm and finished with a dark stained wood floating frame. The frame is complete with D-rings and wire for easy hanging. The thick depth of this frame also allows the picture to stand alone on a side table.
