The coast at Point Nepean, Victoria Australia, is ever changing with the time of year, the time of day and in different weather conditions. In Point Nepean #1 the dark weather is lifting as the gentle waves roll in. The artwork has been created with acrylic paint and mediums on cradled board. The branches on the shore in the depiction are tactile, raised with the use of acrylic modelling paste, and the sand with a coarse sandy medium.
